Jon Solo: Triple Double Day

Jonathan gives you a pop-up podcast to cover all things Badgers.  A walk through of the Badgers against Penn State.  Also a little bit of wisdom regarding both Men's and Women's Hockey.  Also, the Badgers opened up the NCAA basketball schedule by beating Coppin State and Ethan Happ completed a triple double.  Then Jonathan ends by declaring the Bucks the best team in basketball.

Aaron Has a Jim Leonard Story

Jonathan tries to work Aaron out of his Packers tragedy funk.  They move through the pain of the Packers recent loss in New England.  Then they tackle the less than stellar win by the football team, the road losses by the hockey team and the start of the NCAA basketball season.  Aaron laments the snubbing of Lorenzo Cain in the post season baseball awards and projects a snubbing of Yelich.  Finally, the guys reach a plateau of joy as they discuss the Bucks.  Aaron also gives us a story of his glory days playing against Jim Leonard.  

How 'Bout Dem Bucks

Aaron and Jon relive the difficult loses by the Packers and Badgers.  Jon waxes about the value of Alex Hornibrook's value to the Badgers offense and the let down of the Badgers defense.  Aaron gives us "interesting" Northwestern facts.  Then the guys disagree over how upset they should be with the Packers loss.  Then, happy time comes with a strong start to the Badgers men's hockey team and the undefeated Bucks team.

Reqiuem to a Brewers Season

Jon and Aaron are back together after two weeks of technical difficulties.  After a quick run through the Badgers and Bucks, the guys discuss the sad ending of the Brewers season.  So many things to unpack.  From the many runs surrendered by Jeffress to the salary issues of small markets.  The last little strain of baseball talk before spring.

Lions and Rockies and, well, Huskers

Fighting tough some technical difficulties, Jonathan carries on without Aaron this week. A tough week in Green Bay was slightly assuaged by s decent win by the Badgers. Yet, the biggest news in Wisconsin is October baseball. The Brewers continue to roll as they win 12 straight and advance to the NLCS. Listen as Jon starts in a rather and builds to a joyous romp.

Brewers Win!

Jon and Aaron revel in the glory of a wonderful Wisconsin sports week.  The Packers snapped out of their recent loss and shut out the Bills.  Jon gives his take from sitting front row for this game.  Jon and Aaron remember times of games with visiting fans before moving on the the Hunt for October.  The Milwaukee Brewers pulled off the Division Championship that Jon promised a week ago.  The guys bask in the joy of such a wonderful baseball season.  

The Brewers Are Here To Save Us

Jon and Aaron change things up and start with a venting session over the Packers.  They try to make sense of what Clay Matthews has done to the NFL to draw the vitriol of the league.  A week of poor football was saved at the last minute when the Alex Hornibrook stepped up to save the Badgers.  A tough game ended with a few late touchdowns to help Bucky raise the Heartland Trophy again.  Ending with the best news, the Brewers continue to push the Cubs for the division title and keep a lead over all the wildcard teams.

So Many Angry Thoughts

Jon and Aaron take a walk through all their angry, dark thoughts about the weekend that Wisconsin endured.  The guys manage to stay family-friendly while venting over terrible performances by the Badgers and Packers.  They start with the first series loss in eight tries for the Brewers.  They manage to deal with their joint anguish with random diversions into topics off the radar.  

The Bears Still Suck

Aaron returns after a week away with National Guard duty.  Jon and Aaron revel in the recent succcess of the Brewers as they win six straight series.  Yelich brings the big plays all over the field.  Then the guys discuss the Badgers victory in a rather lackluster performance.  But, finally, they relive the Packers-Bears game and where this game ranks among the great games in their lives.  Jon and Aaron fill the show with anecdotes and hilarity along the way.  

And Then There Were 53

With Aaron gone on National Guard service, Jonathan enlists his 12-year-old son Josh to help get through this week of Wisconsin sports.  Yelich continues to swing a hot bat and carry the Brewers past the Nationals and a first game of a series against the Cubs.  The Badgers were okay in their start, but face New Mexico in the coming week... a team that crushed Incarnate Word last week.  The Packers make their final cuts and get ready for Khalil Mack and the Chicago Bears.
