Basketball Wins and Football Coaches

Jon and Aaron update you on the newest additions to the Packers coaching staff.  Then they follow Wisconsin Basketball on a romp through Illinois and the Bucks through a week split.  The Tail gives a quick run down of Wisconsin Men's Hockey earning a split in Minneapolis and Wisconsin's DIII hockey and basketball updates.  Then the guys wind up with thoughts on the NBA, Christian Okoye and the NFL Pro Bowl.

Bucks and Badgers Roll

Jon and Aaron talk through the additional hires on the Packers coaching staff.  Basketball ruled the week as the Bucks went 4-0 and the Badgers beat previously undefeated Michigan.  The guys then go through a rapid fire session to cover Wisconsin's college hockey teams in several key match ups.  Finally, the Last Call brings discussion of NFL Over Time and Russell Westbrook.  

...Like a Giannis Fastball

Jon and Aaron are back together for the first time in the new year.  They discuss the newest coaching hires for the Packers.  The guys revel in the great play of the Bucks.  Aaron spends a little extra time relishing the fastball that Giannis threw into James Harden's face.  Then Jon brings everything back to college basketball and the disappointing Wisconsin month continues.  Then they close out with The Tail and The Last Word for the week.

Jon Solo: Packers Head Coaching Search

With Aaron off for work, Jon walks through the recent reports that the Packers will be hiring Matt LaFleur as the next head coach.  Obviously, this is not the main name that was bounced about, but an interesting choice.  Jon does his best to fill in for Aaron's Bucks knowledge.  Jon then rounds out the Wisconsin sports talk by running through Wisconsin basketball and hockey.  

Regardless, the Bears Still Suck

This week the guys are joined by Jim Weidner of Last Word on Sports.  Everyone bemoans the end of the Packers playoff hopes and talks through the problems with the Packers season.  Additionally, they discuss whether Aaron Rodgers should sit out the rest of the year.  Then they talk through Badgers and Bucks basketball.  There is even a short run down of the few hockey notes before the college winter break.  

Badgers and Golden Eagles, etc.

Jon and Aaron take you through the week in Badgers hockey and the end of the Badgers Volleyball season.  Then they discuss the Wisconsin-Marquette rivalry and the recent back-to-back victories by the Golden Eagles.  Then the guys move to the recent successes by the Bucks against several other Eastern Conference teams.  Finally, the guys walk through their feelings on the Packers performance and whether they want to win or get a better draft pick.

Hail and Farewell Coach McCarthy

Jonathan and Aaron get to the big news surrounding the firing of Coach Mike McCarthy.  The guys ease us into the rant by going through a very successful weekend for Wisconsin Men's and Women's hockey as well as the Wisconsin Basketball victories.  Also, Wisconsin remains the center of the D-III Men's hockey world.  A short touch on the up-and-down Bucks season leads into the eventual rants over the mid-season firing of McCarthy.  The guys disagree over the value of the firing and the timing.  As always, you can expect detours and hilarity.

Unleash the Football Rage

Jon and Aaron switch things up and start with the good weekend in Wisconsin hockey.  Then they talk about the Badgers basketball season kicking off quick and strong.  Aaron gives us his Bucks breakdown.  Then the guys flow fully into their anger over the poor performances by Wisconsin's football programs against Minnesota counterparts.

Boiler Down and Beat the Bulls

Jon and Aaron are joined by Lee Ciokowicz, the host of the Wisco Sports Show.  The guys discuss the difficult Packers loss from Thursday night.  Then there is the mixed bag of Badgers sports.  Men's hockey gets swept badly and Women's hockey destroys Bemidji State.  Badgers men's basketball rolls on and into the top 25 beating the Houston Baptist Huskies.  Then, they end on a high note with the incredible come-from-behind win of the Badgers over Purdue in football.  

Victory Monday!

After a successful Jon Solo podcast, Aaron rejoins Jonathan to discuss victories by the Badgers Mens Hockey over Minnesota, the Bucks defeating Denver and the Packers over Miami.  Along the way they discuss the Bucks as contenders, the future of Mike McCarthy and wish a happy birthday to modern Poland.  Everything you could ever ask for.
