Newborns and Draft Takes

This week Aaron has pull along a tired dad as Jon has welcomed a little bundle of joy ... and screams.  Anyhow, plenty of draft takes after a rather eventful and unpredictable draft.  Then the guys walk through the disappointing home playoff loss for the Bucks and urge a sense of calm.  Then, they talk about the recent news regarding Christian Yelich, Jesus Aguilar and Orlando Arcia as the Brewers get back on track.  Then they end with the Tail and the Last Call.

Final Draft Preparation

Jon and Aaron welcome back Andy Herman to answer the final questions before the start of the NFL Draft.  Several key names for possible picks over the first three rounds including Jon's Draft crush, Amani Hooker.  Then the guys carry on the address the Brewers difficult opening schedule with the amazing start by Christian Yelich and the rough week for Josh Hader.  Then they cover the Bucks first playoff series win since 2001.  They finish with a run through of the Last Call with Russell Wilson and Pat Tillman.

Brewers Make My Children Curse

Jon and Aaron take a deep dive on the names coming up in the NFL Draft.  Many names and schools to get ready.  Then they bid a fond good bye to Forrest Gregg.  Then they move on to address the Bucks dominating win over the Pistons in the first game of the playoff.  After this, they walk through the Brewers trip to LA and the start of their second series against the Cardinals.  Then they close up running through the Women's World Ice Hockey Championship, the NHL Playoffs and Tiger Woods.  

Switzerland?! You Traitor!

This week Jon and Aaron go in depth on their hopes for the first three rounds of the draft.  Giving a few names to look out for and a few wishes.  Then they move on to the Brewers incredible start against the NL Central and the Bucks locking up a 60 win season and the top spot in the coming playoffs.  There is a little talk about WIAC baseball and softball.  Additionally, Wisconsin ladies rule the ice in the Women's Ice Hockey World Championships.  Then, the guys end with addressing the recent Aaron Rodgers story from Bleacher Report.

Alliteration Football League

This week the guys are joined by Eric Rosenthal of the Between the Lines podcast.  They spend a good amount of time going over the main names being mentioned as possible first round Packers selections.  Plenty of edge rushers and defensive linemen to consider.  Then they discuss some safety and offensive linemen options.  Next they discuss the Brewers fast start with wonderful play from Christian Yelich and Ryan Braun.  Then they address the coming ending of the Bucks season.  There is a very quick run down of the UW System schools starting baseball, softball and golf.  In the end, the guys discuss the Badger ties to the Virginia Cavaliers. 

Jon Solo: Ranting at the Madness

Aaron is out of commission with friends from out of town, so Jon takes on a busy week alone.  Jon covers the Packers salary cap and the talks with Eric Berry.  Then he shifts to discuss the recent problems for Wisconsin and Marquette in the NCAA tournament.  Next, Jon pivots to cover the recent Bucks successes and the increasing lead in the East.  In The Tail, Jon covers all the recent National Champions from across Wisconsin's college athletes.  Then Jon ends with a Last Call Focused on the Bob Kraft apology and college athletes.

Sometimes Addition is Hard... Russ.

Jon and Aaron are joined by Jim Weidner of Last Word on Pro Football to discuss the recent Packers signings.  Also, the guys discuss the recent word that the Packers might have messed up their cap number.  Then they cover Marquette and Wisconsin going into the feared 5-12 match ups.  Additionally, Jon leads us through the list of Wisconsin colleges competing for national championships.  

Minnesota Denied Our Credentials

Jon and Aaron discuss a few free agents and possible trade targets for the Packers offseason.  Additionally, they muse on the ghost of Jimmy Nelson and Zombie Ryan Braun during Spring Training.  Then the guys go over the recent basketball woes in the college ranks while the Bucks stay on top of the East.  Then the tail covers the WCHA Women's champion Badgers, the end of the Men's hockey season and the DIII NCAA playoffs.

How Long Before Blurnsball?

With Aaron back, the guys run through Wisconsin sports.  They start with Mike McCarthy's recent ref troubles, move into the Brewers Spring Training heroes and then bounce along the recent basketball woes for all Wisconsin's teams.  Plenty of side tracks and asides to carry the day.  Of course, the guys end with their romp through WIAC sports and their unique takes in the the Last Call.

Jon Solo and So Lonely

Jon brings you the most Wisconsin sports on the internet, but does so alone this week while Aaron attends to personal matters.  Jon walks through the promotion of Wayne Gizzi and the former Packers leading the way in the AAF.  Then there is a little bit of Brewers Spring Training news before addressing basketball across the state.  Jon takes a wide swath of Wisconsin DIII colleges and universities in The Tail before closing up with Robert Kraft and Christian Hackenberg in the Last Call.
