Jon and Aaron do not have guests this week so they peruse the sports world alone.  The NFLPA voted to shut down the entire preseason. The Brewers are back and practicing.  Already getting videos from their families and making Back to the Future promo videos.  However, two players tested positive for COVID.  Also, the Bucks closed their facility after getting COVID test results back.  Then there are a few things to cover in the Last Call.

This week Jon and Aaron joined by Andy Herman.  Great tape development and some insights into Jordan Love, the Packers Offensive Line and Reggie Begelton.  Get yourself ready for the coming Packers season with some great film discussion.  Then the guys talk through the Brewers 45 man roster and the runner on second to start the 10th inning.  They end with discussion of the Bucks 8-game season in Orlando.  Plenty of fun and hilarity ensue.

Jon and Aaron are joined by Paul Noonan and Wendi Hansen.  They go through the MLB negotiations and all the rancor for the players, owners and fans.  Plenty of good information.  Then everyone settles in to get some updates on the NFL and NCAA season and the recent COVID results.  Additionally, some recruiting news for the Badgers.  Then the Last Call has NASCAR, Civil War, the NBA's special rings and the NHL Playoffs.

Jon is all alone this week and left to rant about the lost baseball season by his lonesome.  While talks might come back there is little hope.  Jon follows up with a poetic rant about baseball in American life and the gets to the important stuff like Wiffleball and the Northwoods League.  Meanwhile, COVID strikes a couple FL teams and the Packers Pro Shop re-opens after three months away.  Stay safe.

Jon and Aaron talk about how the sports teams in Wisconsin are handling the recent events and addressing equal rights in their own sports.  Then they move on to discussing the ongoing struggle of getting teams back to the field, diamond and ice.  Also, UWGB finally has Men's Basketball Coach.  Fun stories and frequent asides abound.

Jon is all alone this week.  He walks through the restructuring of Lane Taylor's contract and what that might mean for signings.  Also, several draft picks signed this week.  Barry Alvarez issued a statement regarding recent events and the Badgers added a key Edge Rusher.  The MLBPA and MLB are in the midst of talks regarding starting a shortened season.  Also, Major League Wiffleball is a thing.  

Jon and Aaron are joined by Jim Weidner this week to discuss the several leagues talking about reopening.  The NHL and NBA are talking about playoffs.  The NCAA is having multiple answers from different conferences.  Meanwhile, the guys also talk about NFC North records from 2010 onward and other things.  

Jon and Aaron are joined by Max Kehl of Old Ale Productions this week to discuss the recent Aaron Rodgers interview and the way PFT absolute ruined it.  Also, NFL teams are allowed to open facilities on May 19.  UWGB has fired their men's basketball coach for, seemingly, no reason.  The guys discuss NCAA programs cutting several scholarship teams and then discussing what should be the next Last Dance-style documentary.  For the first time, Jon and Aaron are joined by another veteran. 

Jon and Aaron are back again and discussing the Packers schedule release.  Additionally, they talk through the fake Rodgers drama and the several stories surrounding Brett Favre.  Then the complaints regarding Brady and his old coaching staff.  The guys end by talking about the UW coaches taking a pay cut, a potential baseball restart, and a Greek Freak copyright law.

In the Sports Abyss / COVID winter, Aaron (aka Cheddar Talk) hijacks the show as Jon is not here to stop him!  Aaron pulls back the curtain on the interworkings of the show, and rambles through the slim pickings sports has to offer.  NASCAR is stepping up to fill the sports void, turn left, turn left, turn left, winner!  He then delves into his Twitter feed to address any and all Packers talk that may be out there.  Earhole dynamite!
