Aaron is back from deer camp in time to talk about the Axe. First, the guys discuss the Packers win over the Giants. They address the anger over a 31-13 win on the road. Then the guys move on to address the gap between the Badgers and the Gophers in terms of talent, recruiting and coaching. The Axe is back home. Next, Jon and Aaron talk through the Bucks, Badgers and Golden Eagles in basketball. The Bucks are the shining star that will carry us through until the next recruiting class saves us. Then the Last Call segment covers the dominant UW volleyball team, the state of Wisconsin hockey and the UWW football playoff run.

This week, Aaron is not with us as Deer Hunting is upon us. Jon carries on with a more hopeful resolve than the Packers did. First he runs through the Packers second terrible loss in California in four weeks. Another game where the offense looked terribly out of sorts. Meanwhile, the Badgers gave Wisconsin a little more hope by rolling over Purdue and setting up a Big Ten West championship game next week. The Badgers basketball team had a major set back with a loss against the Richmond Spiders, but the Bucks have not lost over 8 straight games. Finally, Jon pays homage to the Wisconsin Volleyball dominance, Badger hockey and thoughts on the Myles Garrett incident.

Aaron Flottum expresses his inability to continue watching the Los Angeles Charges thump the Packers. Jon discusses several different points, including the small stadium, the new coach problem and the young team. So many things went wrong, but there is little reason to worry about the long term. Still, there is very little good to say about this game. The guys move on to talk about the Bucks not-so-fast start and the Brewers early off-season moves. Then they end by talking about college hockey and Jimmy Garoppolo.

Jon and Aaron back again with another Packers victory. They talk about the roster management and the role of running backs in this offense. Packers adjust and attack a blitz happy defense and then take the Chiefs' heart to end the game. Then the pain starts as the guys turn to the Badgers football game. They start with the expectations and what the Ohio State game might mean long term. Then, there is finally some Bucks news to report. The guys end up ranting about black outs, salty Lions fans and the Gophers begging for more TV coverage.

Jon and Aaron start off by venting all the anger over the terrible, no-show by the Badgers. Obviously, the loss hurt. Then they move onward to the joy of a significant win by the Green Bay Packers. Obviously, Aaron Rodgers was every bit of his MVP-caliber self. Aaron Jones did not make much noise, but the passing game was clicking. Then they pull out the Last Call with talk of the UW Men's and Women's Hockey as well as the UW Volleyball team that currently leads the Big Ten at 8-0.

Jon and Aaron get together after a Packers Monday Night Football. It was perhaps not the cleanest game, but a win is a win. The guys get through the calls that are the talk of the league. Additionally, they bounce through the injuries and the poor play of Darrius Shepard among others. Meanwhile, the guys sing the praises of Allen Lazard and Jamaal Williams. Then they talk about the Badgers impressive win over Michigan State. Jack Coan picks up where Jonathan Taylor stops off. Then they end with a Last Call that features the early season of Badgers Men's and Women's hockey as well as a big sweep by the Badgers Volleyball team over Minnesota.

Jon and Aaron open up with a look back at the Brewers season that was. The painful end to the long season does not outweigh the great run. Aaron takes umbrage with the idea that the Wild Card Game is a playoff game. Then the guys turn to the Packers big victory over the Cowboys. Main points include the improving offense, the ability to overcome the injury to Davante Adams, Jaire Alexander's off game, and much more. Then they touch on the Badgers destruction of Kent State and getting ready for Michigan State. Finally, they end with a Last Call that touches on Badgers Hockey, D3 football and the St. Thomas Tommies.

Jon and Aaron are back to discuss a less than stellar week in Wisconsin sports. First, they walk through the upsetting loss at Lambeau. The Packers fell to the Eagles in a close, back and forth battle. The Eagles players came high and injured friends and foes. Also, they rant about the failures within the five yard line. The guys move on to talk about the Playoff bound Milwaukee Brewers. Jon vents about the season-ending sweep. Finally, they move on to the Badgers win over the Wildcats of Northwestern. Of course, Jon takes great satisfaction over a win over Pat Fitzgerald. As always, they end with their Last Calls.
