Sports Abyss hits even harder as Aaron calls in sick. Jon carries on heroically. There is not a ton of sports news. The biggest news is Badgers Basketball got destroyed by Minnesota and then lit up Ohio State shortly thereafter. The Bucks continue to roll going 4-0 in the last week. This includes a game while Giannis Antetekounmpo welcomed his son Liam Charles Antetokounmpo. There were several gifts from the news fairy as well. Additionally, there is plenty to cover in D3 Wisconsin sports in the Last Call.

Aaron is back this week after two weeks away. Aaron gives us a few thoughts about the Packers season ending. Then they give a funny little touch about Ryan Braun convincing us the Brewers never cheated. Then the guys talk about the Badgers and Bucks basketball moments from the week. The Badgers find ways to beat a few good teams and beat all the teams they are supposed to beat. The Bucks continue to roll through the NBA. The Last Call section features the Badgers Men's Hockey team splitting with Notre Dame, the Badgers Women's Hockey team sweeping Minnesota and some D3 hockey news. Aaron and Jon react briefly to the loss of Kobe Bryant and Gianna Bryant

This week Paul Noonan joins us to discuss the end of the Packers 2019-20 campaign. A disappointing end does not diminish a great season. Jon and Paul discuss the tough loss as well as the concerns and hopes for next season. They run through the needs this team still has and the points where fans should feel excited. The main theme was tempering expectations and a likely 10-6 season in 2020. Jon and Paul give a quick run down of the Badgers Basketball team and the Bucks before signing off.

Jonathan is joined by Special Guest Cohost Jim Weidner of Last Word of Sports. Much of the show is dedicated to the Packers thrilling playoff victory. A great start and a just enough defensive plays to get the Packers to the NFC Title Game. Of course, much of the talk centered around the legitimate first down that locked it in, but much of the game featured odd calls going against the Packers. Still, the biggest players made the biggest plays. Then a stroll through Badgers Football and Basketball. A glance at the Bucks before turning to a few rants in the Last Call segment.

The Badgers watch juniors Jonathan Taylor and Quintez Cephus leaving for the NFL. Then the guys get you ready for the Packers-Seahawks round... whatever it is. Then the guys jump through the sudden domination of the Badgers basketball team, the continued streak of the Marquette Golden Eagles and the loss of Eric Thames. The Last Call segment gives us a run down of Wisconsin college hockey and some points on the Richard Sherman contract and NFL announcements.

Jon and Aaron back for a second episode of the week. The guys talk about the coming Rose Bowl and the end of Jonathan Taylor's college career. Then they transition to Badgers basketball and the sudden re-emergence of D'Mitrik Trice. The guys follow this up with more college basketball as they walk through the continued winning ways of the Marquette Golden Eagles. Moving into the pro basketball, the Bucks continue to walk away from lesser teams. This leads into a conversation regarding how much the NBA season is meaningless. After a little Brewers signings talk, the guys end discussing the Patriots and the Browns.

They discuss the large number of fourth down attempts, the Packers all gas yet plenty of brake, and the near misses. Also, Jon brings out his grudging respect for Bears fans despite his hate for their team. After many of the usual sorts of asides, the guys discuss the Badgers basketball team and the Bucks inevitable loss. Then they rally with the Last Call featuring the National Title hopes of Badgers Volleyball and UW-Whitewater football. Also, Vitaly Pisetsky makes a Twitter appearance.
